Ep 1102-4
PERFORMER Lori Beth Denberg

Ms. Hushbaum, often reffered to as the "Loud Librarian," would coincidentally yell out, Quiet this is a library! along with a variety of other paradoxical behaviors such as playing noisemakers whenever the the silence in her library was violated. A trademark of her sketches was her air horn, and the signs she had placed around the library that read, "Quiet", "No Talking", "Stifle", "Hush", "Silence", and "Shhh". There were also portraits of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln with tape covered over their mouths. Some of the loud activities she would engage in included bowling, fighting a bull, hosting a New Year's Eve party, herding sheep, and talking loudly on the phone.
